Common questions
Everything you need to know.
Do I need experience to join?
No experience required. Whether you’re a first-time food entrepreneur or an established chef, 24Seven Kitchens supports you at every stage. If you can make your product at home, you can scale it here.
Is the kitchen really open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
Yes. Members receive keycard access and can book any available time slot — including weekends and statutory holidays — through our online booking portal. The building is secured and monitored around the clock.
What if I don't have my permits yet?
That’s totally fine — most new members start without their permits. We walk you through the City of Surrey business license application and the Fraser Health approval process as part of your membership. Most members receive approval within 4–8 weeks.
How long is the membership commitment?
Memberships are 6-month agreements that automatically renew. You can upgrade or change your plan at any renewal date. We believe in flexibility — if your business grows faster than expected, we’ll adjust your plan with you.
Can I bring my own equipment or supplies?
Yes, with prior approval. Portable equipment and personal ingredients can be stored in your assigned locker. All brought-in equipment must meet commercial food-safety standards.
Can I visit before deciding?
Absolutely. Book a free 45-minute kitchen tour using the contact form below. We’ll show you everything, answer your questions, and help you figure out if 24Seven Kitchens is the right fit for your business. No commitment required.
Is there a kitchen manager or support staff on-site?
Our kitchen manager is on-site during core business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm). Outside those hours, the facility is accessible to members independently, and emergency contact support is always available. The kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily.
